The purpose of this group is to bring together the residents of the Upper Ridge area, including Magalia, Paradise Pines, Stirling City, Inskip, Lovelock, and we recently added Butte Meadows!
This forum will provide current news so everyone will have access to information pertinent to our communities (see the information bar on the left -'files'). Community concerns and important issues will be discussed i.e. maintaining the Upper Ridge fuel break, evacuation centers, community events (fund raisers, block parties), wildfire safety, neighborhood watch groups, Fire Safe Councils, etc. Very little information is available by conventional means (newspaper). The expense of publishing a newspaper is prohibitive. Yahoo Groups is free! Everyone is welcome to join and participate.
