Welcome to MadCows-MK!

MadCows-MK is an informal group for home-educators in and around Milton Keynes.

The MadCows-MK yahoo group is designed to facilitate contact between home educators, and provide support for parents who are either in the process of de-registering their child(ren) or taking the decision to home-educate pre-school age children and look forward to becoming home educators

The MadCows-MK yahoo group offers:

[1] a way for any and all members to organise & publicise regular and one-offevents, activities and meet-ups with other home educating families in/around Milton Keynes.
[2] A calendar that any member of this yahoo group can access and post events to.
[3] An email list for discussion and support and the sharing of ideas, experiences, contacts,links and other events in the area.
[4] Web-space where we can share Links to useful websites, Files and Photographs.
[5] A place to swap, sell or recycle new or used home education resources.

The group is secular (non-religious), non-hierarchical, wholly inclusive, respectful of all educational styles and philosophies. In order to keep this a friendly place, it is helpful if we focus on our similar goals and are accepting of others different beliefs or styles of education.

The group is set to private, so none of the emails, pictures or files on the webspace can be viewed by non members searching on the web. To protect our families' privacy we ask that people do not pass on anything of a personal or identifying nature from this webspace without permission from the writer.

We look forward to lively chat, exchange of ideas, and to creating a healthy, happy, safe environment for home educated children in and around Milton Keynes.
