PHOTO INFORMATION: Here is Jan Hutchison's winning quilt "Indian Summer" from MQX 2009 (1st Place Wholecloth). Jan describes her quilt as follows: "The quilting designs are original, inspired by antique embroidery. The center and outer border came from a 19th century European folk art vest and the inner border from Elizabethan work. The bright sari-like colors of the Indian shot cotton used in this quilt inspired its name." Thank you for entering your quilt Jan...... it is stunning!
