The 2008-2009 school year is winding down, and that means we have much to celebrate -- but first we have several very important meetings coming up -- please mark your calendars for:
1. General Membership Meeting/Wednesday, 27 May 2009, 7 p.m. Commons Conference -- Our general membership will vote to elect Board of Directors to fill the terms that are ending on June 30*, vote on proposed bylaws changes, as well as approve the minutes from our General Membership Mtg of May 2008.
2. May Board Of Directors Meeting/Wednesday, 27 May 2009, following General Mtg -- At this monthly meeting the Finance Committee will present the 2009-2010 Proposed Budget, we will review action items, and conduct the usual Boosters business of approving minutes, etc.
3. June Board of Directors Meeting/Wednesday, 03 June 2009, 7 p.m. on Mangia's Patio -- We will vote on the 2009-2010 Proposed Budget as well as the 2009 Supplemental Funding. We will also vote in Officers for the 2009-2010 school year*, as well as conduct the usual Boosters business. Please note: We are meeting at Mangia's on the patio where we can order food and drink to celebrate another great year while we work out the details for next year. Please remember to bring cash/credit card -- as I am sure you all remember that our Policies and Procedures state that we do not use Boosters funds to pay for "team parties." Please RSVP by June 1 so Mangia's can be set up properly for us.
*New Board of Directors and/or Officers positions effective July 1, 2009.
Pls remember to RSVP for the June 3 mtg, and also let me know if you are not able to make it to the other meetings. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week -- and the week after!
