The MRGRG-MS-TALK discussion group was established initially to discuss methods by which military retirees might regain the medical care they were contractually promised while they were on active duty. We lost that battle in the courts and in the Congress, but we did get Tricare for Life (TFL) as a results of our efforts. We are now working to retain Tricare Prime for those military retirees less than age 65, and Medicare and TFL for those military retirees over age 65. We must continue to lobby the Congress and think about this... IF YOU DON'T TELL THE CONGRESS OTHERWISE THEY WILL THINK EVERYTHING IS OK. Talk to them face to face, make phone calls, write letters, send FAXes, and send e-mail.
