This site will serve as a communication tool between the police department and the residents of the Sixth District in Washington, DC. The site was created for posting announcements, meeting information, events, crime statistics, and safety tips relative to reducing crime and the fear of crime in this community. In addition, it will serve as a mechanism to promote unity and to strengthen partnerships between the local police and the communities that make up the Sixth District.
