Description
This group exists to communicate information and answer questions about the Middle-Earth Fanfiction Awards, an all-encompassing Awards contest for Tolkien-based fanfiction (including pieces based on any of Tolkien's Arda-based writings, as well as Peter Jackson's film adaptations). Only members of this Yahoo group can nominate stories; members and nominated authors may vote on the nominated stories. Votes will be comment-based, providing everyone with at least one vote with the award of FEEDBACK. Top three places per category will win awards, and several other stories will be awarded honourable mentions.
Voting for the 2011 MEFAs has ended! To read the stories nominated for the 2011 awards, visit this site.

NOTE: When requesting a membership, please let us know if your Yahoo ID is different than any pennames you use in the fandom. This is important because if we do not know your pennames we may give you two usernames at the voting website, http://www.mefawards.org . |
