The Pine Tree Route List

Train #15, the Flying Yankee, at Portland, Maine, August 16, 1937. Photo by Otto Perry, courtesy of PhotosWest.org.

The purpose of this list is to provide a forum for railfans and railroad modelers of the Maine Central and its affiliates for sharing information related to these lines prior to Guilford Transportation Industry's take-over... and is dedicated to working towards keeping the memory of these lines alive.

You are invited to join this group and help make it a valuable source of information for both railfans and model railroaders.

It should be noted that this list is intended to be a place where the historic Maine Central is discussed and not the current operations of the Guilford Rail Service. If you are interested in GRS/GTI then visit the GRS_Railfans List by Clicking here.
