Founded in August, 2005, MECA aims to build and strengthen the Muslim Community across Southern California.  MECA appeals primarily to 20, 30, and 40 somethings that are single, married, and married with young children. We focus our activities on social, educational, and outreach activities

Some of our key projects include a Monthly Gathering that is held on the second Saturday of each month, an Eid Toy Drive that provides gifts for Muslim children in the Southern California area, a support group for new Muslims (Coffee and Converts), and ongoing interfaith activities.

MECA SoCal Forum is designed to be a place where MECA members can politely discuss and share pertinent social, educational, and outreach information relating to our community. We are first and foremost a social group connecting to each other through the tenants of Islam.
