Description

The MDstatecouncil Yahoo Group will be an official channel of communication from the Maryland State Deputy to members of the Knights of Columbus within his jurisdiction. This moderated Yahoo email list fosters transmission of official or important announcements from the State Deputy, his assigns (Electronic Media Co-Chairmen), Past State Deputies, State Chair Officers, Program Chairmen, Ceremonials Chairmen, District Officers, Grand Knights and Past Grand Knights on matters relating to State Council K of C business. Such business may include official communications from the Supreme Knight and/or State Deputy, notices of important deadlines, notices of upcoming State or Supreme events, notices regarding sick and deceased members, notices of Degree ceremonials and so on. All State, District, Council officers and Brother Knights (or their Widows!) are invited to join this Egroup for the rapid dissemination of IMPORTANT business statewide to include the Baltimore, Washington and DelMarva regions.

Posters are reminded that changes to or deletions of Degrees require the prior approval of the Ceremonials Chairman, PSD Andrew C. Bauer, which must be stated WITHIN the email. Also, we WELCOME requests for prayers for those members who are either sick or deceased. However, members posting such requests are urged to maintain appropriate privacy in releasing privileged information about those who are sick or have died and to obtain prior approval from the individual or from their family (as the case may be) before disclosing such information Statewide. Said permission too should be stated WITHIN the email unless it is requested directly by the family of the individual.
