This group is for Moderators of Freecycle groups in Maryland. Mods from nearby areas are also welcome. Please let us know which Freecycle group you mod/co-mod, and who recommended this group to you, so we can quickly approve your membership application.

This group was created to provide a place for moderators in Maryland (and surrounding areas) to discuss issues related to moderating Freecycle groups.

Please post to the entire group if your comment or suggestion is relevant to all members. Reply privately to the individual member if your comments pertain only to their particular situation.

This is a flame-retardant group, both on list and in individual posts. Flames will get you put on moderation, or in extreme cases, removed from the group. 'Nuff said.

We ask you to be respectful, and treat your fellow mods in your posts as you would like them to treat you in theirs. Venting is allowed, ranting is not.
