The Middlesex County Human Relations Commission was formed in 1990 by representatives of the National Conference for Community & Justice (formally known as the National Conference of Christians & Jews), the Central Jersey branches of the NAACP, the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County, and other concerned individuals and adopted By-Laws in 1991. The Purpose of the Commission is; to address the causes and impact of bias crimes and related incidents, to prevent such incidents, to promote and to support the reduction of prejudice throughout Middlesex County. The terms "bias" and "prejudice reduction" refer to and include, but are not limited to, matters, individuals, private or public property as they are related to national origin, race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability of any individual or group involved.
How to Sign In:
Either you have signed up on your own or I have entered you into membership. This means that you will receive postings but it will not allow you to access archives links or reports until you finish the yahoo sign in process.
When you receive an article or any message from this e-group there is always a link to the home page at the bottom of the message. Click the link to get to the home page. Once you see the different colored fold up chairs, you are at the home page. On the top right corner, click the sign in or sign up icon.
It will ask you either for a pass word, or to create a pass word. As you click on it, it will guide you through the simple process to secure your pass word. Once that takes place, you can then open all the archives, files, links etc.
I also strongly encourage all of us to join me in posting articles or messages relevant to the mission of the Human Relations Agenda.
Please let me know if I can help with any other questions any of you
