I just received word from Richard Critz's daughter that he has died.
Richard was a retired United Methodist minister who had a remarkable
ministry in his lifetime.  He was also a wonderful musician.  There
will be a memorial service where he lived in Lancaster County in
December.  His daughter will call and let us know when the service
will be and we will pass the news along.  Let us be in prayer for his
family and friends.

Remember!!!  Our Concert of Praise is Saturday evening at 7 pm!
Admission is free!  A free-will offering will be received for the
music ministry of the church.  Lehigh Valley MCC choir will be with us
as well as One Voice Choir of MCC of the Spirit and our own praise
teams!  Please bring your family and friends and be blessed!

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, your
applications are due!  Because applications must be prepared for
Congregational meeting and published at least 2 weeks before, the
deadline for Board of Directors applications is October 18.  You may
bring them to the Concert of Praise or even bring them to the church
on Sunday morning.  We already have several in.  Pray about where God
can best use you in building up God's church.

Bring non perishable food items and receive a free additional
jackpot card

Saturday, October 18th

Doors open at Noon

First Game is 1PM

$20 games for $10 Winner receives a portion of the proceeds of the
day.

Food will be available for lunch, veggie soup with bread and butter,
hot dogs and kraut or chili, cookies and drinks

Three jackpot games this month, includes $25 Visa card (donated by a
member of MCC to raise funds)

We will also collect food at the November Bingo event on November
15th and offer an additional jackpot card to anyone who donates non
perishable food

If you would like to help put Holiday Food baskets together during
the week of November 18th, please contact a member of the Finance
Committee.

This is a great opportunity to give to the community at large and
have fun and support your church. Children are welcome. Bring a
friend!
