The mission of the MCC Binghamton community is to provide a welcoming and affirming spiritual home to all of God’s children across sexuality and gender identity through social justice activity, community building, and bible study so that we know our divine worth, deepen our relationship to self, other, and God, and share our peace with the world.

Our Core Values as a Community are:
Gospel: We are each deeply beloved by God as we are.
Namaste: We believe that each of us embodies and reflects the presence of God.
Ephphatha: We commit to opening doors to one another across our differences.
Pentecost: We affirm a variety of spiritual paths and expressions.
Emmanuel: We understand that we must act on these truths to make change in the world.

MCC was founded in 1968 in response to the need for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and our allies to gather for worship as fully welcome and celebrated people of faith.
