Hi Dieppe, I first tried the Harbor Freight panels. Yes, they do work, somewhat. The difference is in the effieciency of the solar panel's materials. The

You can pick up a fold out solar panel from Harbor Freight.  Do be warned though, not all encampments are as friendly to non-period solar panels as others,
