This is a group about keeping books out of the landfills, and passing them on to people who can use them.
It's simple, you post the title, and author of the book you would like to pass on, with a breif discription. You can also post the titles or authors of books you'd like to receive. You get rid of a book taking up space, and you make somebody else very happy.


You can search the archive for other members searching for your book, or offering the book you want. Email that member then.

If necesary( and it's often not in Seminary communities, cities, ect), you ship the book by US mail, ect. Nothing but the cost of shipping ever changes hand ever! This group is not about trading, bartering, buying, selling or anything else. It's just about giving away books, for free.

This group is for all Lutheran church bodies. You don't necesarily have to be a Lutheran to participate though. The scope of this group is, in general books relating to spirituality, Christianity, Lutheran history and heritage.
Hopefully there will be a national book freerecyle for all books at some point but if we do that here it will be to big to regulate. Books may be in any language.

This group is not affliated with the freecyle network, but has been inspired by its principles.
