Welcome to Luce County Freecycle(TM). Luce County Freecycle is open to anyone that want to recycle items that they own, rather than throw it away. Our goal is to reduce waste by providing an alternative to sending unneeded, but still usable items to the landfill. The network connects individuals looking to get rid of items with individuals or charities that could benefit from these goods. Freecycle is the place to find a home for your unwanted furniture, clothing, building materials, computers, and all those other things that clutter our basements and garages. All items must be FREE.

FREECYCLE ETIQUETTE

1) NO POLITICS & NO SPAM. Two strikes & you're out

2) SUBJECT LINE Use these phrases:
OFFER: old couch
PENDING: old couch
TAKEN: old couch
WANTED: old couch.

3) Please use PENDING and TAKEN. It will allow others to know that the item is no longer Available. If a member offers to take am item and does not follow through, please inform the moderator of the group. A pattern of requesting an item and then not taking it will be grounds to ban that member.

4) CAN WE USE FREECYCLE TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR PETS? Yes.

5) NO TRADING PLEASE. KEEP IT FREE.

6) No Guns or Drugs. Keep it legal.

7) FYI: RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER. It keeps down the sheer # of e-mails.

8) PICKING UP OR DROPPING AN ITEM OFF. These arrangments are for the giver and reciever to work out. Arrange as you like.
