This group is for those interested in any kind of model railway, railroad, tramway, etc. modelled to any scale and operated permanently or temporarily outside. The main point is that they have been made at low cost.

You may be just starting out or you could have your own extensive railway but still have many low cost ideas that can help others in this rewarding hobby. It’s not about fine scale modelling but about creating the right atmosphere, either by building from scratch using your own choice of materials or starting with the cheapest basic model and adding your own low cost extras. You are welcome no matter which part of the world you are from. You can share ideas, ask for advice and see or add pictures. Try to keep photos below 60KB.
