This is a SECULAR list for all Home Educators (Homeschoolers) in the greater Louisville metropolitan area. This list is used to notify users of field trips and educational opportunities available in the Louisville area and also as a forum for discussion concerning homeschooling. It is NOT a platform for religious or political debate, as homeschoolers of all persuasions are invited to be part of the group. It is open to Louisville area homeschoolers, or those considering homeschooling. Members enjoy exchanging curriculum and can always use a helping hand, but we ask that members refrain from promoting non-homeschool-related businesses on this site. We also ask that members not use this platform to sell their homes, etc. Members, and especially new members, are invited to ask questions directly to the group. We encourage all of our members to check out our Links and Files sections in the louisvillehs yahoogroups website. You will find a number of opportunities throughout the year for classes and other social interaction. If you are looking for a specific type of group and do not see it, do not hesitate to attempt to form a group yourself (i.e., a playgroup or study group, or exercise or dance opportunities, physics classes, etc.). In homeschooling, creativity is always welcome.
