Lord Vinayaka is the Son of Goddess Parvathi and God Shiva, the divine couple, Goddess Parvathi being the Shakthi, form forming half of God Siva's body while God Shiva being the Thrid God of Hindu God Trinity and the Destroyer of The Universe. Lord Ganesha, the elephant faced God, is the Queller of obstacles, Giver of Knowledge and Boons and the Remover of Darkness and Ignorance. The main Temple of Lord Vinayaka is in KANIPAKAM, Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, a State in INDIA. Lord Vinayaka is supposed to have arose as an Idol (which has not been made by Human Hands) i.e., Swayambhu from a Well. The Well is still there surrounding God and is full of Water irrespective of the season. Boons asked here to this God with a vow are fulfilled here.
