Freecycle is a family friendly, non-profit organization, and although many charitable acts occur daily throughout the Freecycle Network, it was organized and continues to function as a Recycling group, a way to keep usable items out of the landfills. Therefore, ALL posts must be for tangible items that are free, legal and appropriate for all ages.
NO charity requests are allowed. If you are just joining us please look for a pending membership letter that will need to be replied to before membership is considered.
The Freecycle Etiquette code is a set rules that all members must follow and are strictly enforced. These rules are sent out as reminders every two weeks. Please review them and follow them. Please do not take it personally if your posts are sent back for correction it happens from time to time. If you are unsure of how to post or what can be posted please ask.
The following is very important.
Members shall be on "Special Notice" and not "No Email Status" or "web only status". We have only one way of getting in touch with members and that is thru email.
Moderators have the ability to edit at will but may choose to send back a post if to many corrections are needed.
By using this group, you AGREE to follow ALL of the rules and etiquette codes. If you find the rules to be something you cannot handle then please find a new group as arguing about them will get you no where. Harassment of moderators and group members will get you banned from the group.
