Talk is cheap and so are assumptions about people's motivation to call into
question someone who by nature of his beliefs will not represent everyone in a
community. Pastor De Jesus will be divisive even within "Paseo Boricua", much
less the city at large.
Xavier's comments do not reflect actions of Pastor De Jesus nor his beliefs.
Anyone can say they are inclusive, even the most religious extremist...but that
doesn't change a lifetime of narrow minded theology and the goals of this
specific religious organization he leads.

influenced by big time developers and affliliates, who know that DeJesus will be
fair with people from all groups and classes, and honor set asides, and that the
candidate they have chosen although he appears to be from our community, will
defend their greedy interest, "realty" remember "gentrification." In my opinion
these individuals do not want the whole "Paseo Boricua" movement coming this
way, that is an opinion of someone that lives this way, and was born and raised
in the community, I would love to see what was done on Division, come this way,
