Purpose is to Lift up Jesus. Jesus said: "If 'I' be lifted up--I WILL draw ALL men unto me" We wish to encourage & build one another up - to do all to the Glory of God. Doctrinal beliefs: (This is just a basic guideline.)
We believe:
1. In the Bible, as the inspired Word of God. 2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. 3. In the virgin birth of Jesus. 4. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. 5. The resurrection of Jesus. That he died and rose again the third day for the remission of our sins. That he ascended into heaven and will return again. 6. You must be born again to enter into heaven. (To receive Jesus as your Lord & Savior for the remission of sins.) To accept Jesus as Savior for the remission of sins, but also to "repent" of ones sins...to turn away from. To be born again , a new creation in Christ. All things become new. Created in His image. 7. Water baptism 8. Baptism of the Holy Spirit. ( Acts chapter 2) 9. Communion of the Saints. (do this in remembrance of me) 10. In the existence of the lake of fire, created for the devil & his Angels. But a place of eternal torment to those who refuse salvation. 11. In the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
