If you support limited government, this forum is for you.
In 1964, then-Republican Presidential candidate Barry Goldwater declared, "A government that is large enough to give you everything you want is also large enough to take away everything you have." He recognized the correlation between government authority and individual rights. Unfortunately, since the Goldwater campaign, government has grown at every level. It continues to grow. Both political parties are equally responsible.
We are
LibertyStudents, an OnLine forum of students dedicated to the principles of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and small government. With over 800 members, we utilize this LOW-VOLUME, MODERATED forum for campus leaders to discuss the mechanics of campus activism and outreach.
This is not a forum for philosophical debate. We maintain a listing of College Libertarian groups across the U.S. at
http://chelm.freeyellow.com/collegelibsusa.html and a listing of libertarian-leaning university professors at
http://chelm.freeyellow.com/libprof.html
This is the unofficial leadership forum of the
College Libertarians USA. Both small "l" and large "L" libertarians are welcome (as well as objectivists, capitalists, anarchists, libertarian Republicans, and libertarian Democrats), as well as libertarian student leaders from America and elsewhere.
Libertarians are independent, principled people who are self-reliant and who have reluctantly entered the political arena in order to re-establish the values and freedoms that made this country great. We look forward to your participation in our student movement to secure our natural rights.
