The LibertyDistrictUSA list is a heavily moderated group for the purpose of keeping it "on topic", and without conflict.
The topic surrounds the formation of "Liberty Districts" anywhere in America. These districts shall be defined contextually and may be described as any legal jurisdiction such as Town, Village, City or County which has a Constitutionally authorized government; the control of which may be realistically attained by a Libertarian/Constitutionalist majority via rightful elections of Officeholders.
These target locations must afford our supporters a realistic chance of seeing endorsed nominees win their respective Seat on the governing board, whereas the respective races must have 5,000 or less adult population in the district, (or a verifyable means of Assuring Clean Elections if larger). To establish viability the candidate running for the office must have, upon campaign kick-off, at least 1/2 the amount of assets in his Treasury (cash or in-kind pledges), as the last victor spent in attaining this Seat. To qualify as a Liberty District, the cost of previous victories may not exceed $30,000.
The moderator(s) will not tolerate arguing about the merits or disadvantages of the specific strategies used by the supporters of each respective target location. It is hereby assumed each "project" will have its own list for such debate and we will allow unlimited publicity on this list for such websites or discussion lists. This forum will remain "neutral" as to which strategy is best to garner the majority we are seeking.
