Dear Sirs:

With all the talk of freedom, truthful, and honest government for
Iraqis, I bring to your attention the plight of an American political
prisoner held behind bars in very nearly your neighborhood. Her
story--as told by her husband is attached. Please read about her
and come back.

Background: Sherry Peel Jackson was at one time an "insider"
at the IRS. Once she learned the truth, she did what any REAL
American would do-quit and tell the truth about the agency. Sherry
never stopped researching and revealing to others what she had
learned. Unfortunately this truth the IRS did not like.

A little known fact is the IRS/DOJ submits for prosecution very
FEW people for not filing tax returns-out of all the hundreds of
millions of filers, the number of actual convictions per year is
under fifty [and that is being generous]. Now out of the millions
of NON-filers could it just be coincidence that Sherry Peel Jackson
"won" the "jail-for-non-filer" lottery? Only a fool would think
so.. Had Sherry NOT told the truth to mass numbers of people, the
odds CLEARLY favor she would still be free! [Just like the other IRS
employees who found out the truth, acted upon same, but have just
chosen to remain silent with their knowledge..and freedom. ] You see,
Sherry became the sacrificial lamb sent to slaughter-not to honor
Passover---but to insure handover of April 15th taxpayer" returns.

It's often been said that to silence a man is to lend credence to
his truth. If this be the case then Sherry must have told a lot of
truth (or at least enough truth). Her detractors couldn't silence her
FREE SPEECH. They couldn't meet her on that field of honor by simply
rebutting what she had to say. They HAD to find a way to silence this
"whistleblower" at all costs-off the field of free-speech-honor-in
ANY way they could and using ANY form of alleged "justice" they
could find. Examine the obvious 'profiling" of Sherry as "target"-I
hear "kill the messenger" don't you? Does not her 4 year sentence
bear witness to PURE SILENCING -especially when real felons get
far less? The message is clear in this alleged Dept of "Judicial"
system: You can buy the tools to mass-murder each other but don't
dare tell each other the truth about government-especially the money
trail. Frankly, these type of servants of the people we don't need.

My Parable: Let's put this conviction in perspective by stepping
back in time-but allowing ourselves our present perspective at
"calling this for what it is." Imagine a Sherry Peel Jackson as a
one-time well-placed "fortunate" government worker in say the 1920's
in Alabama. Someone "cut her a break" and based on her intelligence
in school she lands a nice job in government. But into the job she
discovers some civil-rights issues..some FREEDOM issues. Something is
indeed "rotten in Denmark!" And it's with her employer! Now she might
not have all the answers and maybe from a "legalistic" position,
she might even have some wrong. But she knows that people don't need
the measuring stick of a "law intended for government" to define
freedom-whether that measuring stick be color or income. And she
knows no-one is "liable" or has a "legal duty" to government-that
is, in societies of people that declare themselves independent
and free. After awhile of deep thought she discovers that she must
"either live the lie" or tell the truth. And so she quits and hits
the lecture circuit preaching to other blacks what she discovered
as to the truth. She researches.she learns.and the more she learns
of freedom, law and government she teaches. She's told in her time
on several occasions by well-placed people to just "be a good nigger
and shut up." [Today the message is subtle and more race-indifferent
but the meaning is the same.] Indeed, several government informants
show-up at her lectures pretending to be interested-only later to
proclaim to others well placed in government, "Too many people are
relying on what she is preaching. Her numbers are growing". But
those in power have this problem for some shred of free-speech
must remain to fool the rest of the people. Thus they can't "meet
her" on the free-speech "field of honor"-but they feel they must
do something to stop this spread of truth. You see, even if it
wasn't all truth those in power can't REALLY stomach that she
discovered in self-evidence--freedom. Given enough time, she would
"drill down" to the Organic Law-and that truth cannot be denied so
easily as for example a "failure" to do something. And so one day
Sherry Peel Jackson inadvertently decides to jay-walk in the wrong
part of town. It doesn't matter that in the 20 years of this town's
existence that only 2 people were charged with jay-walking-this day
was SHERRY-day for Jay-walking. The supposed good people of this
town out of even ignorance for their own freedom proclaim, "That
uppity nigger had what's coming to her. Everyone knows black's aren't
free. But we'll make sure she gets a fair trial for no-one should
then proclaim that we aren't righteous. " And so the prosecutors
from a Department they ironically call justice, parade her in front
of a man they ironically call a justice [and not a judge]. After a
trial of "listening to facts alone on the legalities of jaywalking"
and not the lawfulness of freedom, he gives her 4 years for the
jaywalking conviction. You see, he knows his salary is tied to the
other's NON-freedom. To add insult to injury, in the next court a
person bent on doing harm to another gets less than 1 year.

From a perspective of yesterday's 1920's we as a society might
tolerate this: the ends at CONTROL of another justified the
MEANS. Notice that I said tolerate for such actions are FAR
FROM RIGHTEOUS ! Looking at this bit of fictional history-from
a perspective of today-- what would you call this action from
the 1920's? It's nothing more than TARGETTING people who espouse
FREEDOM.that is all. It's SILENCING! It's "Kill the messenger's
of freedom. It's a CONVICTION meant to "send a message". The
intended message in the 1920's fictional story was "all black's
aren't free"..the message for today is "anyone of any color" aren't
REALLY free. The wisdom the bible tells us to acquire is to discern
the author's of these messages-there is no need to wait 40+ years
for someone-else to tell you the devil is the author of any such
"messages of implication."

The point of this has NOTHING to do with Sherry's arguments in
court. It's well BEYOND that point! The 'selective targeting" of
people who espouse freedom for others raises her jail appointment
to one of 'politics". Question the money trail of those in power
is to question their power itself. Question the power and it's a
political issue. Question enough and get thrown in jail as a result
of selective targeting and one becomes a "political prisoner".pure
and simple.

I want to share a quote with you: "I don't like the income
tax. Every time we talk about these taxes we get around to the
idea of 'from each according to his capacity and to each according
to his needs'. That's socialism. It's written into the Communist
Manifesto. Maybe we ought to see that every person who gets a tax
return receives a copy of the Communist Manifesto with it so he
can see what's happening to him."

This quote came from T. Coleman Andrews, Commissioner of Internal
Revenue, as reported on May 25, 1956 in U.S. News & World Report. It
stands alone as WITNESS TO TRUTH! And what was Sherry's real
crime? Putting SUBSTANCE (as best she knew it) some 40+ years later
behind what this THEN commissioner already knew.and revealed! If
this matter was ANYTHING but government's "money tit" her actions
would be cherished for being a "whistleblower"; her detractor's
SELECTIVE actions-from prosecutor thru black-robed justice--would
be labeled as "profiling". Lastly her incarceration would be labeled
a POLITCAL matter-pure and simple.
