LezCruz is a primarily a social networking group addressing the needs of lesbians 40 and over and their friends who live in Santa Cruz, Monterey Counties and outlying areas.

The LezCruz Virtual Community was founded on September 28, 2007. In this forum one can inform, inquire and post information about social events as well as topics of practical, personal, professional, and spiritual interest to members.

LezCruz proactively creates and organizes events for their members. These events are fun and are intended to be a safe and non-intimidating space for members to meet and enjoy the company of those who share things in common. We respect diversity as well as celebrate our likeness. It is our sincerest intention to propagate friendships and goodwill.

As one of our wise members put it; “We are a group of women loving women, may we be free to engage with each other lovingly, in the highest regard assuming the best intentions.” With that said, and since we are a diverse group of lesbian women with different beliefs let’s practice tolerance and avoid messages that may be hurtful or inflammatory.

LezCruz is an affiliate of The Diversity Center dedicated to advancing the causes and priorities of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning (LGBTIQ) individuals and their allies in Santa Cruz County.
