Podcasting is usually a personal effort but it occurred to me that there's a huge community of letterboxers to tap into. Podcasting has gotten increasingly easy with free tools available to do the heavy lifting.
To contribute audio you'll need a computer, microphone and audio editing software. For a microphone, jackbear uses a Samson CO1U, Choi uses a Sennheiser PC155 PC Headset a headphone/microphone combo. For audio editing, jackbear uses Garageband on his MAC and Choi uses an open source program called Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) that offers free versions for Mac and Windows.

Please consider submitting a guest intro to the Letterpod podcast... Something like: "Hi, this is Orion from beautiful Merrimac, Massachusetts and you're listening to the Letterpod!"
I'm listening to Episode 16 right now by Mocchi. I just want to say it is refreshing to listen to be listening to a letterpod that I didn't "make." Thanks
Congrats to David of Team New Hampshire for submitting the winning patch design! http://letterpod.podbean.com/2009/05/26/letterpod-patch-design-competition/
I have the 4 CD set and it is a lot of fun going back and listening to the different episodes. I think it's important for us all to make a donation from time
