Description

The Committee to Free Mikhail B. Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev is an organization founded by individuals who are dedicated to human rights and who have seen the abandonment of those principles in Russia.

We believe that Khodorkovsky and Lebedev are being unjustly persecuted by the Russian Government for political reasons. We believe their treatment is in violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, of which Russia is a signatory, as well as an affront to the rule of law and to the universal values to which every country in the world, including Russia, must adhere.
