Lenawee Freecycle(TM), in Lenawee County, Michigan, reduces waste by connecting individuals who are getting rid of items with others who are seeking them. All items must be FREE.

If you suspect someone is not being honest, please bring it to the attention of the moderators. Don't post "possible wrong-doings" messages to the group.

WANTED postings will be limited to TWO ITEMS PER WEEK. If you don't get a response the first time, you can always repeat your post in two weeks. Please do NOT post SOB stories of how badly you need something or how poor you are, and do NOT BEG for items (such as saying, "Please!!!!). The recipient is responsible for ensuring the safety of any items and for checking at the recalls.gov website to make sure that each item has not been recalled. Please keep in mind carseats have "expiration dates" of 6 yrs - don't offer/take any that may be too old or have been in even a slight fender bender.

3) NO TRADING OF ANY KIND.

5) PICK UP. We suggest waiting 24 hours to give members a chance before you choose who gets your item. WE DO NOT ALLOW MEMBERS TO POST AN ADDRESS AND TO STATE "FIRST COME FIRST SERVED", as this may cause trouble.
6) WANTEDS FOR GROCERIES are not allowed. We do allow food OFFERS if you have food that you know is safe but you cannot use it. Seasonal produce is okay to ask for(e.g. rhubarb,raspberries....etc.)
7) PETS: Giving and asking of pets O.K. but use caution and screen recipients well.
8) NO SHOWS: Please send all communication regarding these to mommiblessed@tc3net.com. We now have a two + strike rule
