It has been a while since I have sent anything out on this list.  I have not
forgotten it, I simply have been too busy to get anything posted.  I have now
begun to post my series of BSG files in a place where they can be reached from
my blog.  I have recently been introduced to Evernote and will be uploading my
files there to a notebook I can share with others.  From that place the BSG
files can be downloaded when I get them all posted.  They will be sent there in
portions, eventually to include the entire four-year curriculum.  Things are

Dear brothers and sisters,

I have recently been given the responsibility to produce the bulletin at the
Bellevue Road church in Dublin.  Before this time, it was being handled by the
widow of the previous preacher, Evelyn Buchanan.  I plan to post the inside
articles of this bulletin to my blog and to let you know about these posts by
means of this Email list, from time to time.

Also, I would like to make an appeal for you to consider checking out TWITTER. 
Some have the mistaken idea that Twitter is all foolishness and wasting of time.
Some people do tweet things that are of zero value, but others of us try to have
some substance to what we send out, by means of links and other tools.  Even if
you do not want to do any tweeting, you can receive the tweets of others.  You
might be surprised who you know that has a twitter account.  It is a means of
getting to know people better and a way to keep informed.  Sometimes I learn
about prayer requests through twitter that I would not know of any other way. 
There are a good number of members of the church who are on Twitter.  House to
House/Heart to Heart recently compiled a listing of some brethren who have
Twitter accounts.

Certainly Twitter is not all good.  Some people do abuse it and some people do
get addicted to it.  You do have quite a lot of control over whose tweets you
receive and who receives your tweets, though.

While I was in Manado, I was tweeting about the bombings that took place in
Jakarta.  I was in Indonesia, but about 1200 miles away from Jakarta, when those
bombs went off in two hotels in South Jakarta.  By means of Twitter, I reported
on the bombs and was asked by Randal Matheny to give my perspective for
Brotherhood News Online.  You can read that report here:

I have been hearing from several brethren who are and have been using my BSG
handouts in their Bible Schools.  Since I have had to shut down my website, this
has interfered with them being able to download the files.  I do have all of
those files posted on my blog, but, unfortunately, most of the links go back to
the old website.  I am working on fixing those links, and uploading the files to
my blog where they can then be downloaded.  In the mean time, I am willing to

I am having difficulty keeping up with posting to the BLOG, but I have
made a few posts that I hope will be a help to you.

First, I have a new feature I'd like to mention.  Some of the members
of the church where I preach sometimes take advantage of printing off
the handouts I use in Bible Class from my blog.  I have recently added
a feature which will make this easier for them and for you.  We are
currently studying Genesis on Wednesday nights and Acts on Sunday
mornings.  On the right side of the page at:

Brethren, may I make an appeal to you.  I do not often do this and
promise not to make a practice of it, but I know of a brother who is
in need of some help.  My good friend, Mathias Posilambi, who lives in
the city of Kendari, on the island of Sulawesi, in INDONESIA, recently
was run into by a drunk on a motorcycle.  Mathias was on his
motorcycle at the time.  As a matter of fact, he was on his way to a
Bible Study with one of his prospects, using the FISHERS OF MEN
system.  He was knocked out for a while and had some bleeding and very
painful injuries.  His motorcycle was destroyed.  I am trying to help
him to pay for his medical expenses and to purchase a new motorcycle.

I am needing to raise at least $1600 and thusfar have $300.  If you or
the church where you worship can help with this need, please send
