News and discussion of historic working sleddog breeds: Seppala Siberian Sleddogs, Chinooks, Mackenzie River Huskies, Alaskan Village dogs, Yakut Laikas (and other traditional Russian breeds), and any other traditional or legacy sleddog strains (M'Loot Malamutes, White Water Lake Siberians, for example) that get left out of the Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute/Eskimo Dog roundtables. This list is loosely affiliated with the International Seppala Association, whose task is to look after legacy sleddog breeds, but it is in no way restricted to I. S. A. members or affairs. This is an open list, you may join immediately with no "approval" necessary. Its archives are public, anyone may read the mail. Responsible adult behaviour is assumed; flaming or tantrums will result in "moderated" status for the person in question. Newbies and lurkers are welcome -- this is a learning forum open to all.
