This is a private list for Washington State homeschoolers who want to be informed about WA State legislative issues that may affect homeschoolers. It is a conduit for information about meetings, bills being introduced in the Legislature, or proposed changes to rules (Washington Administrative Code/WACs) governing homeschooling. E-lerts from state-wide homeschool organizations are posted - with comments and clarification if I feel that some explanation would be helpful. The intent is to provide a source of balanced information and to encourage homeschoolers to become informed about our homeschool law so that they can speak knowledgeably with their legislators regarding pending legislation - if you choose to do so.
