I've started this list as a platform for a supportive environment for all writers of fan fiction in Tolkien's works. This list is for anyone who loves the marvelous world created by the Professor or writes in the universe he created. Participants are encouraged to share fiction, discuss plot and character elements and to help new writers who have begun exploring the vast mythology of Middle Earth. The purpose is to help with research, constructive criticism, general plotting and etc, of all writers, seasoned or not. If you like Actor Fics, this site is NOT for you. This is for the world of Middle earth and its characters only. Stories with slash content, AUs and explicit scenes should be labeled so and rated accordingly. I'm not a stickler for canon but I feel you should warn the reader if you are going to alter elements of Tolkien's universe. Two things I will not accept in any shape or form is blatant Mary Sues or MSTs. My reasons for disliking the former is obvious. I expect those who contribute to know the difference between Mary Sues and an OFC. The latter however, being MSTs, is because I don't feel that trashing someone's story publicly is the best way to help them improve. I don't have a problem with constructive criticism but to me MST's do not fall into that category.
