IATEFL and TESOL colleagues,
Online education is bringing more potential value to the practice
of conducting formal L2 student performances to a wider audience
than the class, so student-generated content and performances in EFL
may be promising areas for future experimentation and research.
In the U.S. the Sloan Consortium of "organizations committed to
quality online education" has taken up EFL practices here in Japan:
