There have been a few inquiries lately about content on this yahoo group, and what would or wouldn't be appropriate, so I thought I'd re-post this description of guidelines that were originally posted in 2005. It still holds true today, 6 years after the original post. "... this is a very informal group that will not be strictly moderated... all members follow these simple guidelines: This email distribution list is intended for Lawson parent-related correspondence. It SHOULD NOT be used for advertising, promoting religious or political views, or for forwarding SPAM. Also, no large attachments, please." (Advertising can be interpreted as being for direct, personal gain.) Thank you all for participating - this group, an informal parent community, is moderated by a small number of Lawson parent volunteers. **If you have a friend that would like to join the group, please have them send a short message indicating the reason for their interest in joining (i.e., parent of a 6th grader, former/future parent...) to LawsonLoop-subscribe@yahoogroups.com**
