The purpose of this e-mail list is to provide social support and information for women age 40+ who are questioning or in the EARLY STAGES of coming out as a lesbian or bisexual woman [first year or two of coming out to self].

The group is limited to 30 active members, and there is a monthly posting requirement for the first year. After the first year of membership, list members are no longer counted in the active membership total nor are they required to post monthly to maintain their membership.

After joining the group, members provide mutual support by sharing their coming out experiences, as well as the information and resources that have been personally helpful in their journey. This is peer-to-peer support, not professional therapy.
