Welcome to the Lancaster County BabyWearing Yahoo Group. Why was this group created?
Many people feel that there's a need for a babywearing movement: a way to teach caregivers that all babies would benefit from being worn. That is our primary goal: to promote babywearing by educating the general public about its benefits.

OurPurpose:
1. To promote babywearing and its benefits to the general public.
2. To sponsor babywearing-related outreach programs, conventions and scientific research.
3. To form alliances with existing babywearing and related organizations.
4. To promote the teaching of babywearing and provide support for babywearing instructors.
5. To inform health care workers and social workers about babywearing.

We are here to help people learn about BabyWearing and all it's benefits! Come to a meeting and try out all sorts of different carriers and find the one that works for you!

We no longer meet monthly but you can call anytime for an individual meeting.
