Description

Discussion and Resources for the descendants and those who believe that they are descendants of the Fletcher family first recorded in Ightenhill Park,Burnley in the 1500s. This family carries the unusual characteristic of hypermobility-also known as double-jointedness. The hypermobility in this family has been diagnosed as that of the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome . The earliest known family member with children who carried the genetic make-up for hypermobility is currently John Fletcher who was born in 1737 .
