Hi friends! Check out these links:
http://www.publishedauthors.net/erinlale/bio.html
is my author page for the print version of Asatru For Beginners, due out in
2010.
Also check out http://www.myspace.com/erinlale
which is my MySpace page. Just make a MySpace profile and then click Add As
Friend on my profile, and you can easily follow my blog, Lale's Magical Thinking
Emporium: a Blog with Multiple Personalities.
I call it that because it's about 1/3 promotion of my books, art, films etc.,
1/3 humor -- I give good snark! -- and 1/3 whatever I happen to feel like
ranting about that day.
The first manufacturing run will be a short run. With a larger run, I could go
after first tier distribution outlets.
Want to back a larger manufacturing run? Each pledge of $5 gets a copy of the
finished DVD, which will retail for $19.99

With all the excitement going on with the new dvd and the Kindle version of my
book, I thought I might try getting in on the latest action. Just sent this to
B & N:
"I saw your ad about the new Nook. My book is available in the Kindle Store on
Amazon. Kindles run on Sprint and Nooks run on AT & T. Will people be able to
buy my book from the Kindle Store? If not, how do I go about making it
available for the Nook?"
We'll see what they say.
The lady at the Nevada Small Business thingy said the most commercially viable
of the things I sell in Magicalrealist Gallery is website content writing, and
that I should start a blog to showcase my writing.
So I began Lale's Magical Thinking Emporium on myspace. Here's the link:

Dear Erin, Still can't open your attachments. I just don't know how. Maybe one day you'll come over for a lesson? Please come over to teach me. Thanks.
Now, I'd love to hear about your cat. I'll be over to see her/him. Hugs from Dutchie
my new kitty arrives Tuesday! I've always wanted a Bengal Cat since I first saw
a picture of one in Cat Fancy (they're the spotted cats). The Bengal breed is
illegal in Hawaii, so no kill shelters there rehome Bengals to the mainland.
I'm meeting the shelter worker and my new kitty at the airport at oh dark
hundred Tuesday morning. The shelter named him Benjamin, which mom doesn't like
because it's a people name, but we wanted to keep the Ben element, so we're
going to rename him Beni-Wan Cat-Obi. Meow!
Working on graphics for the packaging of the How to Make a Sunprint. How to Dye
Silk is being edited. Rune Seminar is ready for post production.
Bersarkrgangr: the Viking Martial Art is currently in production.
Our remodeling will hopefully be finished next week. (cue old song, ain't you
glad you got FLOORS...)
An adult cat from Hawaii will be landing in LV soon needing a new home, and we
are talking to the Hawaii rescue org about adopting him. (Hawaii ships its
unwanted cats to the mainland.)
is finished with post production! Now all the remains is packaging, marketing,
manufacture, and distribution! Those are all the parts that Carl was going to
handle for me in the original plan. I am now scrambling to figure out how to do
it myself. I've got a few leads, plus I'm going to meet with an NSBDC person
next week to see if I can get a more concrete plan.
The main reason I'm doing the how to videos -- other than that I already have
the camera equip so I might as well -- is that sales of fabric dyeing and art
have fallen off in this recession, but inquiries from people about how to do
stuff themselves keep coming in. So I figured, people are cutting back, they
might not be buying custom fabric or art right now, but they might buy
instructions on how to make it themselves.
Just cleaning up a last tiny little bit of post production. On to the packaging
and duplication and marketing phase. Over on createspace, where Ingrid
published her crochet book, I was looking at their community boards and got the
tip to use createspace for VOA on amazon.com but to use this co:
http://www.nationwidedisc.com/
for disk duplication because it's cheaper. So I went over to the Nationwide
site, and it is, plus they offer packaging design. I've been dreading trying to
do the packaging myself, since createspace only accepts packaging designs in
photoshop format, and I've never used the program before, and I know from
designing the quarterly magazine Berserkrgangr back in the 90s that even using a
program I'm really familiar with, it's a lot easier to do pasteup manually,
meaning cutting and pasting with literal scissors, than to get all the margins
right on the computer. That's why I always did the pasteup for Berserkrgangr by
hand, using the skills I learned in 8th grade Mechanical Drawing.
that I thought some of my friends might want.

Re: Clash of the Gods
We should do some media tie-ins to the Thor episode. Press releases offering
interviews or something.

Hi Dutchie,
The way to get to the documents is to first go to the main page of this site at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LaleLibrary
then go to the Files section on the left hand side
Then click on the file or folder you want to read.
:) Erin
Dear Erin, Can't open this. I just do not know how to do it. Sorry,
