Last night, New York City Labor Against the War (NYCLAW) called a protest
for Monday, April 29, against the Israeli Consul’s speech at the NYC Central
Labor Council.

This morning, the Jewish Labor Committee canceled the speech, stating that:
“Due to scheduling conflicts, the Briefing on the Middle East Crisis and
U.S. Policy, which was to have been held next Monday, April 29th, has been
postponed. A new date for this meeting will be announced in the near
future.”

AS A RESULT, NYCLAW'S PROTEST WILL NOT TAKE PLACE MONDAY, AND WILL BE
RESCHEDULED IF AND WHEN NECESSARY.
