Hi Everyone,

We are always looking for neat Christmas lights, and we found a house that has programmed their lights to music. The address is 5407 Mountain Elk Court, 89148. Very neat!

Happy Holidays!

Has anyone's hubby played Santa before? Chris says he will do it .. but I dunno, lol. I could hire our favorite Santa if he is available. We have been doing our photos with him for 7 years now, and have become close. If I could snag him for our party ~ he is as official as they get for Santa. But just in case ~ it would nice to have a backup. I adore my husband and love him so ... but as a Santa ... hrmmm, lol. Those of you who have met Chris ~ you know he is kind and fun, but can be quiet and shy too. Maybe I should dress him up and have him audition, lol. Any tips for pulling off a great Santa? Although I will say that the kids just do not seem to care. Last years Santa had on tennis shoes, was thin, and his brown hair was showing. The kids still love him, lol. I suppose I am just a bit OCD when it comes to my parties, lol.

> Tracy, thank you so much for hosting this wonderful project! We had so much fun preparing for our presentations and learning a little about how our Lola (grandma) celebrates Christmas in her country. Watching everyone's presentations was such a joy, all the kids did such a wonderful job! You are so creative, the passport and plane ride were so much fun for the kids!

Here is a link to the video showing how to make the Parol's (star paper lantern). We stapled bells to the top and streamers/curling ribbon to the bottom two points. Ours were very simple as far as Parol's go, but easy for the kids to make. you just need paper and tape! a stapler and curling ribbon to add the finishing touches.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked them.

p.s. gotta love google with homeschooling! We didn't have a computer with internet when I was in school, we had the Library ;)

Hi all,

For those of you attending Pray and Play today, Dakota and I won't be able to
make it unfortunately. She woke up this morning with a croupy cough. I've been
watching her all morning and she's a little run down so we are staying in all
day today. Especially since we are leaving 1st thing in the morning for Polar
Express. The good news is the Pray and Play is still on so if you were planning
on coming, there will still be other Moms and kids there. There won't be an
activity page and I'm not sure if Christine will have a bible story for the
kids. I do know there will be lots of playing though.

Have fun and I hope to see you next week.

Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!

Juls
