THE LR2 A-CLASS CATAMARAN is the combined work of designer Richard Roake and builders John and Ian Lindahl. This Yahoo site details the development of this craft and gives you the chance to comment on it.
Just introduced is the LR3 A-CLASS CATAMARAN. This is a refinement of the LR2 and lends itself to a lighter weight skipper. The same construction techniques were employed, which means you could be building a boat this way too.
On the left side of this page "Files" has a series of articles on how the boats were built, as well as some thoughts on the design. The boats are a custom build that can be detailed to someones personal tastes.
Since we just don't build boats I've got a file on the furniture included and a few other projects we've been involved in.
