SeaWinds in tight formation just after a start at the Region 5 SeaWind Championship held on Town Lake in McKinney, TX, October 28-29, 2006. Sail #86 (Yellow hull) is Mike Eades, the SeaWind 2006 National Champion from Arizona. Other SeaWinds with recognizable sail numbers are #24-Charles Sudduth and #37-Jerry McBride. Ten SeaWinds sailed in the regatta from three states--TX, AZ, and KS.

The Les Lacs Yacht Club Addison (LLYCA) is the home of model yacht sailing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. LLYCA was formed in 1998 for the purpose of promoting remote controlled sailing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Our members have a wide range of sailing experience—from beginning sailors to experienced sailors of full-sized yachts and/or model yachts. LLYCA is a club for all levels of experience. LLYCA currently sails the Victoria, Seawind, and ODOM. We sail twice a month from February through December except July. See the Calendar for regatta dates and venues. Once you become a member you will have access to all parts of the group. Come and watch us sail at one of our sailing venues. If you have a Remote-Controlled sailing yacht, bring it and sail with us. We have no race, age or gender requirements.
