Dads Living Loving and Learning to support breastfeeding

This group is for men who are raising breastfed children. This group is also for men whose wife or partner is pregnant, or may become pregnant and you intend to have a breastfed baby.

This group's purpose is to advocate for breastfeeding for as long as it is beneficial for the child. The purpose of involving dads is to assist them in their role to develop and maintain the breastfeeding relationship between mother and child.

Other topics related to breastfeeding and parenting may arise such as attachment parenting, co-sleeping, elimination communication, home birth, vaccinations and others.

This group is a membership required group. As a membership required group the member dads are afforded some measure of privacy that their questions and posts are being viewed by dads like themselves thus allowing the dads to freely discuss the issues of concern to them. It is requested of all members that the privacy of the members be respected and not forward or copy e-mails / posts to individuals outside the membership unless it is appropriate to do so.

All individuals requesting membership are asked to describe their interest in the group and what brought them here. Membership requests with no such descriptive information will be denied. This information is only provided to the moderator(s) and not shared with the group unless the new member posts the information in the form of a group wide message.
