This Lake Joy Community Yahoo site was established to enable community members to have a method of sharing information about activities, crime and safety issues, classifieds and general information about the community. Topics of interest might be asking if anyone could recommend a certain service like an electrician or a plumber or notifying others of an area safety or security issue. Many of us share the same school districts and utilities and all of us have the same fire and police services. This email group could be a good place to share information related to them.

Members can talk or ask questions about interests and concerns of the area but postings will be moderated and messages about politics and religion will not be allowed. No one but the group's owner's and moderator's will know that you are a member of the group however if you post a message then group members can see your email address.

Most people prefer to receive posting in a daily digest form in which you receive all postings for a given day in one email or you can receive postings individually.
