Our firm is actively buying REO's, Non performing notes etc. that are US
based tranches or mortgages. Would like direct contact with bank officers
(Large or small - i.e. Barclay's, DB, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Wells
Fargo etc) Please NO brokers ....also would consider private equity,
investment group(s) or hedge funds looking to liquidate portfolios / toxic
assets.

We are not region specific, but must be US based and residential
properties (we will be looking to acquire commercial distressed assets in
2010 - 1 or 2Q).

Our target is $1B minimum portfolio size, but can be broken into smaller
tranches that add up to the minimum. Please email me directly if you have
DIRECT access or are an officer of a bank or possibly a private equity,
investment group, LLC or hedge fund looking to liquidate portfolio(s).

Hi,
Running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and I receive this error
"Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine."

LICM looks like a very good mashup and I would like to use it on my laptop.

How do I resolve this?

So my problem is that I've uploaded several spreadsheets over the years and lost
a Hard Drive. I now need to get "back" my database of my own contacts that I
uploaded but aren't yet LinkedIn Contacts.

When I go to the "Imported Contacts" tab, while under the Connections Page and
then click on "Import Current Tab", I get an "Unhandled Exception" and it
crashes.

Is this feature not being implemented? How do we get the Imported Contacts that
we owned back out of the account that we own?

I've got 7500 Imported Contacts vs 1039 LinkedIn Connections. I'd like that full
7500 back.

I'll need to have some data to test on.
Can you get few people to request to join the LinkedIn LICM group ?
I'll use the requests to generate the required code. :-)

They did remove the groups but if you are the group owner, when the LinkedIn user requests to join your group, the email IS listed.  Perhaps you could do something with that.

Before using the full update, you have to import the connections.
Use the Connections Page option - to enter the connections page then import the
contacts of each letter.

Only once you have imported the summary details, you can run the full details
import.

The LinkedIn groups option will be removed in the next LICM as LinkedIn changed
and this option is not relevant any more.
LinkedIn does not show the group members Emails so LICM can't import it.

You should use the now option of LICM 10.7.1 for sending messages to group
members. This option has the advantage that it allows you to send messages to
members in all the groups you belong to.

Arnei,

The latest version (v10) has a number of small issues that make the solution a little cumbersom- a quick outline...

When exporting to csv. I get a <SPAN class= "miniprofile-container: linkedin address"...> in some of the columns. Database details in 30% of rows are spread across a number of lines after the export. This happens once I add detail to the my linkedin contacts- something about a mini profile. See the example <span> below.

<SPAN class="miniprofile-container http://www.linkedin.com/companies/3305?miniprofile=" data-tracking="mcp_profile_sum" hasMiniPanel="false">

The names in the data base are formated first name, last name for my connections and last name, first name for my group connections. Takes ages to sort it out before doing any data interogation!

I'm getting an error with the e-mail functionality where you enter in the message you require- I have placed the details of which below.

I'm looking to export the contact details to an access data-base- wondering if functionality to do that is in the pipeline?

Thanks for all the hard work- this is the best solution- just a few tweaks I'm sure!

Thanks,

Nick

Dear John,

True. That's why you have to apply the 10.7.1 upgrade.
You'll find the download at the Files page of the forum.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

I've just installed 10.5.1.0 and I'm getting errors and oddities all over the
place.

Update Full Contacts Details -- "No Contacts to Upload" (whether the checkbox
is checked or unchecked.

Emails/Edit Message -- "Unhandled exception has occurred... Provider cannot be
found. It may not be properly installed.

Send Message/Show Emails indicates that I have no contacts.

Connections/View&Select -- Error in Refresh: Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider is
not registered on the local machine.

How do I save new information to the LICM database? (I can't find the "save" button on the application file menu.)

Why did the Company information not get imported when I ran the "import full contact information" process? Also, some of the Area information was wrong and most City information was blank.

I tried to use the new beta version to test things out, but I forgot I
previously re-installed Windows. I didn't have the full LICM installation
package (versus the "upgrade" .zip file). Arnnei, could you post the previous
"full install" version as well?

Thanks!

I have tried installing earlier versions of LICM without success. Tried the new
version today and it installed on first try. As I import from each tab, it seems
to import cleanly, but when I go to check the data, nothing is there. I checked
the error log and see a repeated error that says:

... err: Could not find file "C:\....\LICMDB.MDB'

I searched my entire hard drive and the file does not exist. Should it have been
created when I ran the LICMV10.exe program - or is there somewhere else I need
to go to download it?

Thanks!

Hi All,

I usually only monitor this forum; but lately I have been getting the feeling that linkedIn is (re) designing it web site to be more and more user unfriendly.  Does anyone else feel the same or is it my imagination.

Hi Guys,

The problem in 10.6 was created by.... LinkedIn (who else :-)
Basically, they changed their group management GUI and took away some of the options - week after I published 10.6.
Imagine my disappointment....

The truth is, I've been using and testing 10.7 for sometime now, with some new facility that replaces the group management menu.
It still has some quirks, but generally works well.
In few word - it allows you to send messages to members of ANY group that you are member of.

I'll upload it soon.

Best,

Arnnei
