Single Adult Temple Session

Date: Friday, December 4,2009
Time: 7:30 PM

You'll have the option to take part in either an endowment or sealing session as you prefer.

Please be in the chapel ready for the session by 7:30 PM.  The temple presidency message will start by 7:35 and will end in time for our 7:50 session.

For those who wish to take part in the sealings:

There will be a sealings sign up sheet at the name issue desk. If you plan to join the sealing session, sign that sheet and do not get a name.  Prepare the same in all other ways and go directly to the chapel for the presidency message.  If you would like to do sealings, please encourage others to commit to join you and to sign in as outlined above so that we have enough for a session.  We need a minimum of three brethren, and preferably four or five, to hold a sealing session.  At least three or four sisters would be good, too.

Take an evening to leave the world behind and unite with other single adults in concentrating on eternal priorities, renewing temple covenants, blessing our progenitors and strengthening ourselves to accept the challenges we face.

After the session and after changing, we will meet in the cafeteria for a brief social.  Again this month, desserts from the cafeteria will be available at NO COST to individuals, this time courtesy of the Golden Stake.  (Please be patient until the Golden Stake representative gets there after the session to track desserts taken.)

Please join us for the fellowshipping even if you chose not to partake of the desserts as we make and renew friendships and enjoy one another's company with voices and conversations appropriate for the temple.  At least sign in on the list we'll have in the cafeteria so we have a record of the stake you're from.

As singles we have a variety of quality activities to choose from.  As great as many of those activities are, what a blessing to occasionally leave the noisy, turbulent world behind and fellowship together as we renew our temple covenants, ponder an eternal perspective and partake of the spirit of the temple.

Thanks for your support.

Hello. I am a late 40s active single adult living in Denver and am driving to
Salt Lake for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I have a late model, very
reliable mid-sized SUV with great tires and good gas mileage. I am a safe and
reliable driver with an insured automobile and an excellent upgraded car stereo.
(most important!)

Am driving to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving. Leaving Denver on Wed. Nov. 25th
around 4 p.m. and leaving SLC to come back to Denver on Sunday Nov. 29th around
1 p.m. Takes about 8 hours one way. Am planning on taking I-80--however, will
take I-70 if needed. Looking for riders--can comfortably take 3 passengers--4
if you don't mind sitting close. Total round trip gas cost will be about $150.
Will split gas equally depending on how many total travelers we have. I enjoy
great conversation and having a good time--this will definitely be a good time
for all.

If interested call me, David, at 480-248-0342.
