Copywork consists of great thoughts from the scriptures, literature, poetry, addresses, etc. copied in the student's best handwriting, providing a meaningful penmanship exercise as taught by educator Charlotte Mason. This announcement-only list (no discussion) sends a short selection each Monday through Friday for Latter-day Saint homeschooled students to use for copywork. The selections are best suited for ages ten and above, but may be adapted for younger students. (See also these examples for youngster students. ) The selections from this group could also be used as dictation, memorization, family devotionals or spiritual thoughts.
