This list is for discussion of rules and rules questions in the Living Arcanis campaign. This list is not for discussion of *story* questions about the campaign, which should be posted on LA-Talk.
All rules questions posted to this list pertaining to campaign-specific items (such as the LARC or the CCG) will receive an answer from a member of the campaign staff. Rules questions that are about the core D&D rules probably won't be answered by the campaign staff, but will most likely be answered by your fellow list members.
This list is maintained and moderated by the campaign staff. There is no daily posting limit, but we do ask that participants observe the standard rules of netiquette. Disruptive posters may be removed without warning.
The following subject-line tags may be used:
[RQ] - Rules Question. This type of post generally initiates a discussion thread.
[OA] - Official Answer. This is an answer given by a member of the campaign staff.
There is no need to use the [UA] tag ("unofficial answer") on this list. Anything that isn't a [RQ] or an [OA] is pretty much a [UA] by default.
IMPORTANT: When you reply to an [OA], please delete the [OA] tag from the subject line. That helps people who use e-mail filters to send the [OA] posts into a specific folder for ease of reference.
All [OA] posts on this list are cross-posted to the LA_Rulings list (after final review). [OA] posts are effective and binding on participants in the campaign as of the date they are posted to the LA_Rulings list.
To be clear: Only the [OA] posts on the LA_Rulings list are official for the campaign. However, the campaign staff will answer questions and participate in the discussion on this list. The official and final version of any [OA] will appear on LA_Rulings.
For questions, comments, or concerns, please contact the campaign staff. Contact information is found in the current LARC.
